Sand Plate
The signature cymatic: grains that genuinely migrate and pile along the nodal lines.
How Sand Plate moves with your music
Every kick throws the grains back up, and they re-sort as the figure changes.
Like every Luxaudica scene, Sand Plate is generative — seeded fresh each session, so it is provably never identical twice — and deeply reactive: bass moves the big shapes, treble the fine detail, and the song's build-ups and drops steer the whole arc. It holds one intentional colour family per moment and shifts with the song's key, and it stays quiet when the music does — darkness is a feature, and it is what makes the drop land.
Make it yours
Shape Sand Plate live with intensity, speed, warp, glow and Punch (one lever for how hard the picture rides the music), grade the colour, and save the result as a look you can recall by keypad, MIDI, OSC or a sentence to the AI copilot. Send it fullscreen to any display in deep 10-bit colour.
