In this mission you'll run one full session with Claude at the desk: connect, direct by feeling, commission a scene that doesn't exist, and end the night with the assistant running the show — and you holding the one button that always wins.

The mission

1. Connect (once)

   Luxaudica settings → Allow local control → the Connect screen gives you the connector file; double-click installs it into Claude Desktop.

   why: one file, local-only — the app never listens beyond your own Mac.

2. Say hello

   With music playing, ask: "What's on screen in Luxaudica, and what does the music look like to you?" Expect the scene name, tempo, key and energy back.

   why: confirms the connection AND shows you the assistant can genuinely see and hear.

3. Make it look

   Ask it to show you a snapshot, then to audition a scene it hasn't shown yet before switching.

   why: this is the core discipline: the assistant previews privately, your wall only ever shows approved frames.

4. Direct by feeling

   Give it art direction, not slider names: "Too frantic. I want expensive and patient — darker floor, warmer light, drops that swell."

   why: translating adjectives into the 30-odd controls is exactly what it's good at.

5. Save what works

   "That's it — save this as First Hour."

   why: AI session output becomes a one-keypress look you own forever.

6. Commission a scene

   Brief it like a director: "Build 'Deep Field': slow constellations over true black, the drop births a nebula. Audition and iterate until the quiet frame is genuinely dark." Watch it validate → audition → refine → deliver.

   why: this is the deepest thing the surface can do — new visual worlds from a sentence, checked by its own eyes.

7. Hand over the night shift

   "Build a 45-minute looping show from my saved looks — calm, peak, land soft — start it, and watch the performance numbers."

   why: the assistant runs cues, transport and perf checks while you host the party.

8. Practice the override

   While it's driving, press Panic on the panel. Everything returns to manual, visible, sane.

   why: trust comes from knowing — not believing — that the human always wins.

How to talk to it

• Describe outcomes: "the drop should feel physical" beats "set punch to 0.8" — though both work.
• Ask it to check: "snapshot after each change" / "audition before you switch" keeps its taste honest.
• Let it read the room: it sees tempo, key and energy live — "match whatever I play next" is a fair brief.
• Scope the night: tell it what it may touch: "looks and scenes yes, my saved gallery order no."
